My Role

I worked as one of the product designers focused on delivering seamless Ui designs as well as easy to navigate features that can be understood easily without extensive tutorials.

The Ask

As Vita Superstores expanded, their existing systems struggled to keep up with the increasing volume of tasks and staff activities. Managers found it difficult to get a clear, consolidated view of ongoing operations. Important tasks were being missed or delayed, and accountability was becoming harder to enforce without a unified tracking system.

The lack of real-time visibility into task progress, departmental performance, and compliance audits created bottlenecks and slowed decision-making. Vita Superstores needed a streamlined, centralized dashboard that would bring clarity and control back to their daily operations..

The solution

To tackle these challenges, we designed a comprehensive dashboard tailored specifically for Vita Superstores’ operational needs. The dashboard serves as a single source of truth, providing real-time insights into task progress, staff activities, and workflow statuses.

Dashboard Highliights

The dashboard was crafted with usability and clarity at its core. The sidebar navigation ensures smooth movement between major sections without overwhelming the user. KPI cards at the top provide instant access to the most critical metrics, helping managers quickly gauge overall performance.

The task activity feed is fully sortable, allowing users to drill down into specific departments, timeframes, or statuses via the filter button to pinpoint issues or successes.

Audit Logs

The audit logs are designed as a clear timeline of events with robust filtering and export capabilities, supporting compliance needs. Finally, interactive charts give a visual snapshot of outcomes and departmental trends, making complex data easy to digest.The task activity feed is fully sortable, allowing users to drill down into specific departments, timeframes, or statuses via the filter button to pinpoint issues or successes.

This balance of functionality and simplicity was key in delivering a tool that Vita Superstores’ team could adopt quickly and rely on daily.

Impact

Since implementing the dashboard, Vita Superstores has experienced a noticeable improvement in operational visibility and task management efficiency.

This project reinforced the importance of balancing comprehensive functionality with intuitive design. It became clear that presenting data in a clear, digestible format is just as crucial as gathering the right information. I also gained deeper insight into how real-time operational dashboards can transform managerial workflows and foster accountability in growing organizations. Most importantly, working closely with the Vita Superstores team highlighted the value of iterative feedback and user-centered design in delivering practical solutions
